ABOUT MONIKA…

Six years ago, I discovered yoga, through rehabilitation. Regular practise helped me to recover from a knee injury, develop mental resilience, and find inner strength during the most dramatic times in my life. Yoga also complements my martial arts training as helps me build flexibility and agility.

Ever since, I have been keen to deepen my understanding of yoga, its philosophy and life energy cultivation. Consequently, I have completed 200 hours yoga teacher training with Yoga & Ayurveda Centre in August 2020. The journey was absolutely priceless and so inspiring that I have decided to work as an instructor to promote yoga as a way to a balanced life.

 
 

My favourite styles include Vinyasa and Yin yoga. I am also into Martial Arts and Gi-Gong and for seven years I have been a student of Hung Gar Kung Fu. Therefore, you might see elements of these traditional systems in my classes to help you attain a healthier and happier version of yourself.
