The Hub Open Day - 26th March 2022
'The Hub' held its official open day on Saturday 26th March '22, hosting a number of guest speakers and holding multiple classes across the day. It began with a Zipline Fundraiser across Goodison Park to raise addition funds to enable 20 men suffering with their mental health in the area of Liverpool, to participate in a 6 week mental health support programme. The course will be run by trained Mental Health worker, Sarah-Louise Gustafson who has helped many men in the area to develop skills to manage and understand their Mental health and wellbeing, through the tried and tested workshops she runs.
We then returned to the Hub for its grand opening and to begin the days events. We started with a meet the team and introductions over food and drinks, including special guest Speedo Mick who joined us for the day. We sampled many of the classes and programmes that will be on offer the hub such as the 4 Elements (Fire - Sauna, Air - Breathwork, Water - Cold Water Plunge, Earth - Exercise) with Mark 'Onamission', Men's Yoga with Usman Ali, Inner Child work with Don't Walk In Silence and a sound journey with Herz No More.
We would like to thank our guest speakers sharing their stories and experiences, those who come along and attended the open day, and of course, every single person who has donated time, money and put their energy in to making this new Hub a possibility.
